RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING ( RPL)

RPL Policy: Students may apply for recognition of relevant courses undertaken at The Mask Academy or other qualifications issued from another RTO. An RPL application does not guarantee a discount in course fees.


Paying your fees in installments
If your course is not paid in full at the commencement, you must pay your course fees off in fortnightly installments of which you will be notified in your confirmation letter. You can pay this by credit card, you can pay directly into our bank account, you can pay online via our website or pay cash, cheque or money order. .
The Mask Academy prefers that you set up a direct debit with your bank for your fortnightly payments. Bank: Bendigo BSB: 633 000 Account: 141 882 084 Please place THE STUDENTS FULL NAME as reference, or the payment may get lost in the system. The Mask Academy will suspend any student from class who does not make their course fee installments or who falls behind in their course fees.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION
Payment of your course


1. Course deposits are non refundable.
2. There is no refund for any course fees that are paid in installments.
3. Students are required to attend all lessons in which they are enrolled. If students miss a class due to illness, they will have to make up this missed lesson in another scheduled class. No accreditation will be issued until all missed lessons have been completed.
4. The Mask Academy reserves the right to expel students deemed with disrespectful and / or inappropriate behavior.
5. The Mask Academy reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule a class.
6. Each student has a duty to disclose in writing to the Mask Academy any medical illness or disability that may affect their study or the study of other enrolled students.
7.The Mask Academy is not permitted by law to discuss your personal details with any other person than the student that appears on the enrolment form

1. Default & Consequences of Default
1.1 Interest on overdue invoices shall accrue daily from the date when payment becomes due, until the date of payment, at a rate of two and one half percent (2.5%) per calendar month and such interest shall compound monthly at such a rate after as well as before any judgment.
1.2 If the Student defaults in payment of any invoice when due, the Student shall indemnify The Mask Academy from and against all costs and disbursements incurred by The Mask Academy in pursuing the debt including legal costs on a solicitor and own client basis and The Mask Academy’s collection agency costs.
2. Privacy Act 1988
2.1 The Student and/or the Guarantor/s agree for The Mask Academy to obtain from a credit reporting agency a credit report containing personal credit information about the Student and Guarantor/s in relation to credit provided by The Mask Academy.
2.2 The Student and/or the Guarantor/s agree that The Mask Academy may exchange information about the Student and the Guarantor/s with those credit providers either named as referees by the Student or named in a consumer credit report issued by a credit reporting agency for the following purposes:
(a) to assess an application by Student; and/or
(b) to notify other credit providers of a default by the Student; and/or
(c) to exchange information with other credit providers as to the status of this credit account, where the Student is in default with other credit providers; and/or
(d) to assess the credit worthiness of Student and/or Guarantor/s.
2.3 The Student consents to The Mask Academy being given a consumer credit report to collect overdue payment on commercial credit (Section 18K(1)(h) Privacy Act 1988).
2.4 The Student agrees that personal credit information provided may be used and retained by The Mask Academy for the following purposes and for other purposes as shall be agreed between the Student and The Mask Academy or required by law from time to time:
(a) provision of Goods; and/or
(b) marketing of Goods by The Mask Academy, its agents or distributors in relation to the Goods; and/or
(c) analysing, verifying and/or checking the Student’s credit, payment and/or status in relation to provision of Goods; and/or
(d) processing of any payment instructions, direct debit facilities and/or credit facilities requested by Student; and/or
(e) enabling the daily operation of the Student’s account and/or the collection of amounts outstanding in the Student’s account in relation to the Goods.
2.5 The Mask Academy may give information about the Student to a credit reporting agency for the following purposes:
(a) to obtain a consumer credit report about the Student; and/or
(b) allow the credit reporting agency to create or maintain a credit information file containing information about the Student.
